Ahnsahnghong is not Christ because the Counselor is spirit? (Truth about the World Mission Society Church of God)

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Ahnsahnghong as the Second Coming Christ. However, opposers who deny Christ Ahnsahnghong claim: “Since the Bible says that the Counselor is spirit to be opposed to the flesh, the Second Coming Christ cannot come in the flesh. Therefore, Ahnsahnghong is not Christ.” If their insistence is right, they also cannot believe in Jesus because He was also the Counselor.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever–the Spirit of truth. (John 14:16-17)

Since Jesus Himself was the Counselor, he said “God will give you another Counselor.”

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin , we have an advocate [Counselor] with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1 — KJV)

Here an advocate is Jesus Christ. Both “Counselor” and “Advocate” are the translation of the Greek word παράκλητος (paráklētos.) So Jesus Himself was the Counselor too. Therefore, if the Counselor cannot come as a man, Jesus also cannot come in the flesh because He was also the Counselor.

If the Counselor cannot come as a human because he is spirit, is it also not possible that God, who is spirit, appears as a man?

If the Counselor cannot come in the flesh because he is “spirit,” God also cannot appear as a man because the Bible says God is spirit (John 4:24.) However, it’s witnessed that God can appear as a man in the Bible.

Is it also not possible that angels become men since it’s written that angels are spirits?

Angels who appeared as men in Genesis 18 are also referred to as spirits in the Bible.

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)

Although the very nature of God the Father (Jehovah) and God the Son (Jesus) is Spirit, it’s not impossible that They come in the appearance of a humans. Therefore, those who claim that the Counselor cannot come in the flesh because he is spirit also deny the fact that Jesus came as a man. It’s difficult to understand the Bible with our physical eyes. Since it’s prophesied that Christ would appear a second to bring salvation (Hebrews 9:28), we should meet the Second Coming Christ to get salvation. Please look into the Bible and receive Christ Ahnsahnghong who fulfilled all prophecies of the Bible.
